John came from GDL to repair our guttering done to perfection with a very good decent for water flow recommend we change the side facia also as it was rotting came off in bits as he touched it but overall done a good job would use again thanks

GDL Building Solutions claimed to cover roof with 3 new layers of bitumen and felt for 2500+VAT. I asked if that is OK to leave roof as is with not fully dried bitumen as top layer. I'm not sure if felt was added at all - it does not look like. I was told that top layer will dry in 30-60 minutes. Roofer also asked if I have mesh to cover places were pigeons can get in. I said that I don't have any, not sure if I suppose to provide materials, but I expect roofer to know better and have required materials to protect roof while bitumen is drying. I did a check next day and it looked still fresh, but no pigeons. Unfortunately on day N2 after the repairmen I noticed pigeon glued into bitumen, which was not fully dried. I called GDL Building Solutions (James), they arrived looked at the roof and all bitumen swelled with air bubbles. James told that pigeon is guilty and they are not responsible for not covering the roof. 10 year warranty job failed on day N2. I'm calling for another opinion and different roofer to check if 3 layers were placed as expected and if roofer expected to ensure that bitumen would fully dry.
