Conveyancing Paralegal - Worsley

Location: Worsley, Greater Manchester

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Firm

A well-established, multi-branch law firm in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join its Residential Property team in Worsley. The firm is recognised for its approachable culture, excellent client care, and longstanding local reputation.

Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised paralegal to support fee earners in managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload. You'll assist with all aspects of transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities

Support fee earners with sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions.

Draft and prepare legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements.

Open new files, carry out AML and ID checks, and manage compliance documentation.

Order and review property searches and liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.

Maintain case files and monitor progress using the firm's case management system, ensuring deadlines are met.

Handle post-completion tasks such as SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.

Provide general administrative support, including document management and correspondence.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in residential conveyancing (paralegal or assistant level).

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Confident communicator with excellent client care.

Proficient in case management and Microsoft Office systems.

Team player with a proactive and professional approach.
