I came to acquire this around 5 years ago
I did some of my own research which led me to a gentleman who is an antique dealer …he shared with me that they had loaned the powder flask to Bill and the gun was loaned to him my a local antique arms dealer…happy to share this email exchange with the new owner by way of provenance
It’s framed nicely too albeit worn with nibbles on the corners but uniformed as in no particularly obvious part that sticks out like a sore thumb!
Solid wood with an antique lacquer finish and colour …rib detail and gold colouring as it reaches the glass
