Brief Description:
This is a superb early 19th-century Oil on Board Portrait Painting depicting a young aristocratic Georgian girl seated by a window while sewing.
The elegantly dressed girl wears her strawberry blonde locks in a ponytail.
She wears a fabulous silk-lined dress. Her facial features are very natural and lifelike.
The painting is mounted within a good-quality (later) gilt moulded frame.
