We did a lot of research into people to come and do a painting & decorating job in our house. We read the reviews for 9 Brothers Painting and based on this we got them in to quote for the job. They were the least expensive quote we got, and we were happy to go with them based on this, and previous reviews. Very glad that we did do. They did an excellent painting job for us. The work was on schedule and the quality is first class. Ahmet was a pleasure to have around and we knew all would be well when even our dog took a liking to him. Can't recommend highly enough and we would definitely use Ahmet again.

Cannot recommended Ahmet and his team enough! He painted my shop a few years ago and so I knew who to call when I needed my new house done. Extremely efficient, very capable (even with ceilings more than 5m high) and super friendly/trustworthy. Very happy and would recommend to anyone. Five stars!!

Overall, I Ahmet did a good job and I would recommend him and his crew to others as the pros for me cover the cons. My flat definitely looks much better than before the paint job :) Pros: * Extremely quick to respond and answer any questions * Quote was solidly lower than other quotes I have received * Visited and gave quote pretty much the next day from contact * Started work very promptly and finished a whole 3 bedroom flat with doors and skiting boards in under a week * Adapted to my selection of paint without changing their initial quote * Ahmet is an extremely nice guy Cons: * Post paint cleanup was honestly not that great, I have got a decent amount of paint over my window frames, door handles, hinges, and flooring, while not impossible to clean, it's a lot of bits here and there and I haven't managed to clean all of them yet (would probably take a few hours) * Communication wasn't very clear sometimes, English is my second language too so I am not judging based on that, but for very specific bits I sometimes wasn't able to get my point across

This is the second time I’ve asked 9 Brothers to paint for me. This time they did my whole flat (a reasonably big job including all walls, ceilings, doors, moulding, skirting and windows). They're great at small jobs - a room here and there - or big jobs too. The first time I used them was to redecorate the entire common staircase of the Edinburgh tenement (completed in 8 days). They’re very professional. They turn up on time, keep their promises and give useful advice. They even helped me move heavy furniture back into place once the job was done. Both times they’ve cleaned up after themselves really well, vacuuming all the filler dust and old paint, then mopping the floors so everything’s left spotless. Their quotes have been much lower than other painters, but the quality of their work is excellent. One of the team also does plastering, so any damaged walls are properly repaired before painting. They take real care to protect floors and furniture and always treat the property with respect. I’ll definitely keep using them and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, skilled painters.
