Description
Each fairy house is individual and each is very different from any other. They vary in size from approximately
25cm 65 cm tall.
The doors have working hinges fabricated from old copper pipe, and can be opened revealing a recess
which would hold a small figure.
Hand crafted from materials I have recycled.
The materials used are hard wood (ie oak, ash, beech, blackthorn) sourced from fallen trees and old broken furniture. The copper parts are made from offcuts of copper pipes.
The only items not hand made are the brass and copper nails.
These items will be perfectly happy living inside or outside.
Although my Fairy Houses have lived outside for 10 years with minimal deterioration, it might be advisable to store them somewhere like a shed over the worst winter months?
