3 BURR WALNUT DAWERS - originally from the antique BURR WALNUT GENTLEMEN'S/LADIES' WARDROBE
Exeter, Devon

Description
These drawers are believed to come from a set of wardrobes which I sold a few years ago, but only discovered these drawers at a later date!
They are lovely drawers with the really nice burr walnut finish on the front and dovetail joints. Sadly, the photos and the bad light don't do them justice. (Please click on each photo to view full picture, as I think Gumtree crops the photos slightly.)
The fronts are a lovely, warm 'honey-tinted tan' shade. The gorgeous grain in the wood can be seen throughout.
They are a set of 3 sturdy drawes and, although they originally came from a wardrobe dating from around 100 years or so ago, they would also fit and look well set in more modern units. (I did test them for size in a standard cube shelving unit, in which they fit and still looked a great contrast.)
These drawers are of equal size, measuring:
36 cm (l) x 19 cm (h) x 28 cm (w) (approximately).
For their age, they are in amazingly good condition, however, they do show odd signs of wear, eg, occasional minor scratch, rub marks or similar, which could be easily addressed with the appropriate treatment, (such as a very fine hand sand and light varnish/wax), OR they can be left as they are to show their character.
Can be reunited with burr walnut wardrobes or used in alternative units, or just as storage.
Due to size, shape, weight and type of specialist item that they are, I can only offer collection from Exeter city centre.
Offering at a low, bargain price to regain space!
