Description
Just putting a few feelers out as this is a tough sale for me. “Bertie” is a 1972 1300 VW Beetle. Powder blue exterior with dark blue vinyl interior. He has been lovingly restored & I have a folder full of photos of his restoration. Engine was completely rebuilt. He was originally my late father’s before he turned him over to me in 2015. The car is a joy to drive & certainly not slow! We used him mainly during the summer months & has always been garaged. Also has been used for quite a few weddings as you’ll see from the photos, so has always been kept in great condition. Anything he needed, was done to the highest standard. There are two lap belts in the rear of the car. Four alloy wheels & the engine has always been well maintained. We recently had the car professionally compounded & machine polished, which you can see in the photos. As he’s an historic vehicle, he’s MOT & tax exempt. Please only genuine vintage VW enthusiasts. No tyre kickers. Genuine reason for sale & will be a fantastic car for the right person. Thank you for looking.
