Description
Rover V8 Auto, right hand throttle and right foot brake, and properly registered V5 and on Q plates.
Nice looking design and isn't as big as other V8s trikes. Basically I bought it last year as a runner to be my main transport but brakes were stuck while on the transporter so handbrake cables need replacing.
I replaced brake fluid and bled rears, the adjuster on rear cylinder needs adjusting to balance between braking and binding.
Sadly while installing modern handlebar switchgear I tried adding front brake onto handlebar lever as I prefer, but front bleed nipple sheared off, so needs something doing to get lever to activate brake. You can hear movement when pulling lever but brakes don't activate, presumably due to insufficient fluid. I tried using an extractor in drill but no luck so needs a solution.
I'm disabled and no local garages work on trikes so had to throw in the towel. I'm gutted I'm not riding it but I'd rather someone get it back on the road.
It's been under a car cover up until storms a couple of weeks ago that tore it off.
