Description
The RCA AR-88 is a well established American Military Receiver and was used as a surveillance and intercept receiver during WWII between 1940 and 1945. The AR88LF version covers 75kc/s to 55kc/s and 1.5 Mc/s to 30Mc/s. Radio is complete, un-tested, unrestored and in original condition. I bought this set 4 years ago and intended to restore it but will not now have time so I am selling on. Has been in storage for a long time and will require electrically checking but wiring looks good. Would be an excellent example once restored. I'm sure everything will clean up very well but will let the new owner do this. Rare to find in this condition.
The radio is extremely heavy and therefore is pick-up only and would require two strong individuals to move. I can help load. Collection only from Maidstone Kent. Thank you
