Posting for under a monthHPC LS6840 Laser Cutter Engraver
Rhosllanerchrugog, Wrexham
£1,200
Description
HPC LS6840
No offers, this is a bargain machine for someone. These go for £2500 to £3000 on eBay, Take a look on the ones on there at the mo.
I took this in Part ex about 8 months ago against a CNC machine ( I own a business that builds CNC machines).
It's been waiting around in a corner of the workshop for me to get time to go over it and service etc which hasn't happened with being flat out and doesn't look likely for sometime soon
60w tube.
Runs on lasercut 5.3, software and dongle included.
68 cm x 40cm bed.
Motorised z adjustment.
It's in working order, tube fires , it runs a job etc fine however at the moment the cutting power is down as the mirrors are very tarnished and will need replacing,. The tube itself is is on in good order
For those not familiar with lasers - Mirrors are classed as consumables in lasers and are easy enough to change, it will also need the mirrors aligning after changing, again this is something that needs to be done as part of maintenance so is easy to do with plenty of guides on YouTube.
The previous owner advised it had a new tube early in 2024 which has a label on it with a manufacturer date of late 2023 so that all tallies up.
Previous owner said new tube has about 30 hours of use on it.
The machine has been slightly modified by the previous owner do they the extractor is mounted on the back of the machine, extractor included, you will need a hose to vent outside.
The machine comes with the air assist compressor.
Water Chiller not included, I can supply one for an additional £150 or you could use an aquarium pump with a water reservoir which is how they are supplied new.
Things to be aware of -
The mirrors will need replacing at a minimum.
(About £40 from UK suppliers, import from China and they are about £15 on AliExpress. 25mm Diameter mirrors.
The key switch is broken but is in the on position, the broken part is the barrel which has come loose from the switch bezel, it could be repaired, replaced for about £15 or left as is.
The honeycomb bed isn't original, the original are slatted which is a pain as parts fall through. The honeycomb bed offers better support for parts.
The machine is heavy (120kg) and large, a van such has a small transit will be required to collect.
I have a ramp to help with loading.
The machine is in used condition, if you want a new one then go to HPC and fork out over £6000....
As stated, I won't consider any offers, it's £1200 firm.
This is a used machine, it will require some basic servicing to get it into useablr condition, no warranty is given or implied. I can't offer any help either it aftersale.
No time wasters. No silly questions, all info about these popular machines is available on HPCs website.
Happy to show it setup and running.
