Description
A fine framed glazed print of the Palingbrug (literally translated : Eel Bridge) Antwerp, 1856
In former times this small street, pulled down in 1884, formed the bed of the old citidel's moat. The name originated from the vaulted passage, where female eel-mongers used to keep their market days.
