Art Picture - Framed Print by E.G. BURROWS - Seaview Pier, Isle of Wight:-
Pictured c1889+ by Isle of Wight Artist Eric Gordon Burrows (E.G.) done about 1950's to 1960's. He was born 1928 and died 1990 (he painted Ships, Piers, Landscapes & Railways in a old original style.)
In a frame: size approx: 43cm x 35cm (unglazed). Framed by John Collins, of Ryde.
Note: Seaview Pier was constructed in 1879-1881, with the Pier Head added in 1889. It was finally wrecked by storms in December 1951, after being left derelict bt the Services after WW2 and subsequently cleared away.
Condition: Used with minor markings as expected with age.
