DESCRIPTION
This is a highly detailed etching of the cathedral of Notre-Dame of Reims.
This piece was created by Henri Toussaint in 1883.
Henri-Charles Toussaint was a French painter, illustrator, and etcher. He achieved his greatest acclaim through his architectural studies of Paris.
The frame seems to be original. It is glazed, ready to hang, and measures 16 1/4” tall and 14” wide (41.3cm x 33cm). The mount opening measures 10 1/4” x 8” (25.8cm x 20cm).
