Description
Antique Settle Monks Bench Solid Oak Hall Seat Table Storage Box Trunk Chest
This stunning antique oak settle would be a great statement piece in any room - it is ready for use. It would be ideal for a hallway or entrance room, providing some extra seating, perhaps for sitting on to put shoes on. The high back top, which doubles up to be a beautiful tabletop once folded down (please see the attached video), is ideal for extra surface space when needed. This piece has attractive barley twist supports to the arms, and the bench seat lifts to reveal a storage area. The oak has a lovely, rich colour and grain throughout. There are some light marks, including wear to the armrest and scratches in places from use and age. Please see photos for full details of condition. Please note some of these pictures are taken in reasonably bright sunlight, therefore the colour may be darker in less light.
Approximate measure measurements are 27 ⅜” (69.5cm) tall (down) 39” (99cm) tall (up), 36 ¼” (92cm) wide and 17 ⅞” (45.5cm) deep.
