I am assisting Martin Laguna, a professional musician based in Richmond with over 20 years of experience teaching and performing. Martin offers private one to one lessons in piano, violin, cello, and double bass to students of all ages and all levels, from complete beginners to advanced players.

Lessons are supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s building confidence, developing solid technique, or making steady progress over time. Teaching takes place at my private studio in Richmond, with plenty of parking available. Martin is fully DBS checked and have an excellent track record, with consistently strong exam results.

Martin looks for reliable students who are able to commit to regular lessons, generally following school terms for younger students. Adult lessons can be more flexible and personalised, with a reasonable level of ongoing commitment. The first lesson is always a trial, and lesson structure, payments, and notice periods are explained clearly at the end of that session.
