I specialise in hand drawn illustrations in pen and ink, watercolour, pencil and digital. I create art for music festivals, children's books, wall art for interior designers and catering businesses and surface design in my unique style.

I love illustrating children’s books, but they take at least three months work to create. I am a proffessional, so please consider how much you might pay any other professional for their time, expertise, guidence, advice and care when considering your budget. To illustrate a book I don’t just draw some pictures! First I will need to design the style and look of the book, agree a colour pallette and create a story board begfore I draw a page. Most picture books have 32 pages, including a cover, and it takes two days for each page, then you have to add in type setting. A book can take a month to three/four working full time, if you want a quality product you can be proud of! You should look at a budget of around £3000 for a professional book which will stand up next to one produced by a traditional publisher and have a chance of building a profitable series going forward, but if you invest that money with me, a professional product it what you will get! I go the extra mile to help you realise your vision, and more importantly, if my years experience make me feel that your idea needs more work or has fixable flaws to address before it hits the book shelves, I’ll tell you, rather than just take your money and let your book not be the best it can be. I’m on instagram and other social media platforms, so will always help publicise your project and provide images and content for your PR, and am happy to work with people looking at crowd funding as a way to find their work.
As a published author and creative writing tutor, I can also support you with editing your text and story, refining your writing style and drilling down to the USP of your project.
