Rare vintage Gibson RD Artist 1978 with original hard shell case & instruction manual.

The guitar is in good all original condition with fully functional active Moog circuitry with expansion & compression.

It has a couple of minor dings & a small patch of buckle rash as shown. The bridge pickup cover has lost most of its gold plating & the bridge is similarly worn on the bass side which is normal for a 47 year old guitar but the rest of the gold hardware is in very good shape.

The frets are in great shape too with no visible wear & the guitar plays perfectly in all modes & sounds fantastic.

It still has the original operations manual which is vital to understanding & operating the myriad of sounds available. The original case is in very good condition with all latches working & interior strap, compartment & lining in great shape.

Looking for £3150 or very near offer (these are currently going for upwards of £3.8k so this is a great deal!) & I will accept either cash or direct bank transfer on collection from Crowborough, East Sussex but I will not post or courier the guitar under any circumstances so please don’t bother asking!
