Description
This is a 4.8 Watt Solar Panel which I bought brand new from Maplin. It can be used to charge 12V batteries to maintain them at optimal charge condition so you don't suffer from flat batteries which result in your vehicle not starting. It is perfect if you leave your vehicle standing for long periods of time and don't start or charge up the battery. It has a built in blocking diode too ensuring all charge is sent to your battery and prevents reverse charging from the battery to the solar panel at night.
It can be used on small cars, I would say up to 60 Ah batteries, motorbikes and small 12V batteries including small leisure baterries too. This solar panel could also be used for projects or experimenting with and would be the perfect sized solar panel to get anyone interested in solar panels for any ages!
It comes with a cigarette lighter adapter and 2 crocodile clips for a direct connection to a battery if your vehicle doesn't allow charge through the cigarette lighter port. It also has 3 Meters (10 foot) of cable attached to the solar panel so you can place it in the ideal place on the front dashboard or back to get the most amount of sunlight. It also comes with 4 screws for permanent mounting in to a position and with the instruction manual sheet and original box.
I have only taken this solar panel out of its box to test it and it still works perfectly. It is still in an excellent immaculate condition as it has only been used for test purposes.
If you are wondering whether this item might be for you or need help in knowing something about this solar panel you can call me and I'll be happy to help.
It has ALWAYS been in a smoke and pet FREE home!
Collection is from Limehouse DLR Station.
I have other items for sale too so check them out too!
