Clients receiving a deep tissue massage should be aware that due to the release of tension, you may have bruising appear later in the day or the next day after the massage. This bruising and soreness after the massage is due to unfamiliar manipulation of the muscles and is not necessarily a cause for concern and usually reduces after 24-48 hours.
