Antique/Vintage Ocean Liner Hardwood Deckchair 1930’s/1940’s/ Steamer Chair/deck furniture.
Reputed as to have been recovered/salvaged from the a well know Ocean Liner in the 1960s when docked in South American on one of its many trans-Atlantic routes.
Was in the tropics for 30 years and used daily. Now no longer used and needs to go to a new home to be lovingly kept with the provenance.
Tropical Hardwood. Some alteration may have made to seat during its life time. Works well folding up to save space. A little work may be needed to spruce up further but functions very well.
Well crafted and a very nostalgic piece of boating/steamer furniture pre- the days of long distance plane journeys from the halcyon days of leisurely transatlantic ocean crossings.
