Description
Genuine Art Deco Lamp circa mid to late 1930 with elegant straight stem and heavy chrome base. The lamp has been professional rewired but the original switch in the base and lamp holder is also original (a replacement switch on the base).
The glass shade support and clamping screws are missing and so two replacement screws have been used. The shade is not original (not included in purchase) so the buyer might like to purchase a smaller more original one. The green baize material on the base is missing and would need replacing.
The piece is in overall VG condition with only a few age related signs of wear accumulated over the last 80 years.. Designer unknown and likely to be British.
Height of lamp without shade– 32cm
Width of base – 13cm
