Antique Victorian/Edwardian Converted Duplex Oil Lamp – Electrified, Ornate Design
A stunning example of a late 19th to early 20th century Duplex oil lamp, now converted to electric for modern use. This lamp features a beautifully ornate mix of green glass, likely pressed or uranium-style (not tested), and a solid green onyx/alabaster column base with rich gilded brass detailing.
Key Features:
Converted for electric use with standard bayonet bulb holder (easily replaced or upgraded)
Original "Duplex No.2 J.R." burner (no longer functional with oil but kept for display)
Impressive size – approx 26 inches tall, 6-inch square base
Heavy and solid construction – ideal as a statement lighting piece
No chimney or shade included, but can accommodate standard replacements
