VINTAGE FRENCH ENAMEL KITCHEN UTENSIL RACK, HANGING RAIL, 51x40cm - 1950s FRENCH KITCHENALIA - NO UTENSILS INCLUDED
WILL POST - I can post this for £7.99 if paid for by bank transfer (Note - we only accept payment in cash on collection or by bank transfer if delivery agreed - no PayPal, card, or courier payment).
Selling our collections (hoards) of mostly French vintage items that have been acquired over many years until finally we have no room for more!
Part of our collection of French kitchenalia, we got this from a brocante at Vendeuvre sur Barse in the Southern Champagne region.
It’s a big wall mounted kitchen utensils rack with drip tray dating to the 1950s.
Larger and heavier than others I have seen, it is a nice sturdy piece with thick enamel, aluminium hanging rail, and drip tray.
Now well worn but with a nice patina, this is still functional and also makes a great decorative piece of French kitchenalia.
In good vintage condition with some wear, scratches, chips, rusting, and staining, consistent with age and use - please examine photographs carefully for condition.
The surfaces are thickly enamelled and are worn, rusted and chipped in places but still intact and sound with no perforation through the metal - see photos.
It is of sturdy construction with no flex to the backplate.
Slightly misshapen but hangs well.
There is a geometric relief design to the backplate.
There are two hanging holes for wall mounting.
The hanging rail is aluminium which bends and is a little crooked but sound.
The drip tray is intact with no holes.
Measures approximately:
51 cm tall,
40 cm wide,
12 cm deep,
Weighs about 2.3 kg.
