I’ve also got a VS 2480 that is in a bit beaten up and some small issues for sale.
Happy to chat about it here if your interested. I can swap both or one of the cards into that machine if required.
That also comes with keyboard and mouse so you can hook it up to a monitor and skip using the smaller screen.
I’ve not used it fully but the things I know to be wrong with it are as follows.
Transport buttons are temperamental ( the stop one if I recall correctly ) - when using keyboard/ mouse / monitor this would be less of an issue.
One of the knobs for the inbuilt compressor on one of the tracks wasn’t responsive ( I think this has other functions that I can’t recall also)
One of the internal circuit boards snapped ( I think when someone was changing an fx card - it wasn’t the fx card that was damaged !) and I had it repaired by an electrician friend who painstakingly reconnected all the circuitry.
There may be other issues that I am not aware of as I never had the space to set it up but I know that it functions at least 60% having plugged stuff into it, seen signals etc and navigated around.
