They are ideal for cooking or roasting.
If you would like to have them roasted, I recommend to buy them raw and roast them yourself for the best taste, while there’s hot 😋
Roast them at 200°C / 400°F / Gas Mark 6 for about 10 minutes. Don’t forget to pierce them well with fork or cut a cross on top prior to roasting. This will prevent them from exploding and turning your oven into mess ☺️
All of mine chestnut went through a process to turn the starch into extra sweetness.
Absolutely delicious, nutritious and full of flavour.
