Description
I have for sale a lovely example of a Woden 186B/1 bench vice. This vice exhibits pretty much zero backlash, which means when you turn the handle back and forth, the jaw moves instantly, without delay. There's a little jaw waggle side to side, as can be expected, but in no way affects the vice performance. The jaws are parallel and lock up nice and tight at all jaw settings. I have stripped as much paint from it as possible to give it a fresh new look and I think it looks lovely in the flesh.
Jaws are 3 inch wide and have plenty of "meat"on them, indicating the vice has had an easy life, and they open up to around 3.5 inches.
