With over 40 years of experience in designing and creating bespoke bridal and special occasion gowns, we specialise in both custom-made pieces and expert alterations and restyling. Our extensive knowledge and craftsmanship ensure that every gown is handled with the utmost care and precision.

We work primarily with exquisite fabrics such as lace, silk, satin, beaded, and embroidered materials — giving us the expertise to bring your vision to life with elegance and finesse. Where possible, we also use eco-friendly fabrics and upcycle existing garments, offering a more sustainable approach to fashion without compromising on beauty or quality.

At the heart of our service is a personal, one-to-one, client-focused approach. The privacy of our boutique allows clients to speak with Velma confidentially, without other customers being present in the space. We see clients by appointment only, offering consultations where you can share your ideas, inspirations, and any reference images or sketches. This helps Velma to fully understand the look you want to achieve and offer tailored advice and creative direction.

All the work is carried out in-house, ensuring that we maintain the high standard of quality and attention to detail that every one of our clients deserves.
