Description
Sold by (Arthur) Allan of Glasgow 1855 - 1985 this has been a loved and cared for rod and is nice and straight even after all the years of use. It has a lovely light weight action which makes it a pleasure to hold all day long. It has very nice orange and red original silk whipping that is all in tact. The butt and top cones plus the ferrules and rings are all made from brass as you would expect from a quality vintage rod. It comes in a thick cotton bag for protection. I have used it for snatching small silvers with my Grandchildren who have found it particularly easy to handle. I originally brought this to display but sadly couldn’t find the right place to show it.
Collectors and traditionalists will love this rod.
