I didn't start out wanting to be a photographer. I started out wanting to pay attention.

There's a moment at every wedding, every live event, every theatre production - usually unplanned, often slightly chaotic - where something real happens. Someone's composure breaks. Two people share a look that wasn't scripted. A guest in the background reacts in a way nobody expected. That's the moment I'm there for.

I'm Hannah, a Dorset-based photographer, videographer, and photo booth supplier working across weddings, live events, theatre, corporate work, and beyond. My approach is documentary - I watch rather than direct, and I stay out of the way long enough for people to forget I'm there. What comes back from that is coverage that actually reflects how the day felt, not how it was supposed to look.

The clients I do my best work with tend to be the eccentric ones. The couples who've brought their own strange and wonderful touches to the day. The performers who've poured something personal into a production. The individuals who want a headshot that looks like them rather than a version of themselves they'd never actually recognise. Uniqueness isn't a problem to manage - it's where the best work comes from.

There is art in reality. Often more than there is in the staged version. That's what I'm trying to find, every time.
I'm a solo operator - when you book me, I'm the person who turns up, shoots, and edits your coverage. I'm enhanced DBS checked, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and neurodivergent and accessibility-friendly. Based in Christchurch, Dorset, covering the South of England and beyond for the right job.
