We bought this set from one of the premier solid oak furniture dealers in Dorking, Surrey.
Altogether it cost over £8,000.
The set has only been lightly used since we rarely had guests over and so is in excellent condition. A few marks on the table top reflect the natural antique look and can be easily touched up.
This is a statement piece and would be the centre point of any dining room.
It has so much character and always attracts compliments. It's really hard to find this degree of craftsmanship for a fair price these days.
As you would expect, the table only deconstructs to 2 pieces: the table top and the frame. Everything is tongue and groove there is no further disassembly possible. This reflects how sturdy and solid it is.
The chairs are 1 piece each of course
You will therefore need 2 people and a van to collect. We have the contact of a very good 2 man and van crew who charge £75 per hour (2 people) if you need it.
