Description
Outstanding Vintage Mid Century Modern Swedish made, Teak Wood extendable dining table by Hugo Troeds, designed by the highly regarded Nils Johnson. Circa 1960s. The design is called 'Ove'.
This much loved family table is in remarkably good condition. In it's normal configuration it seats 6 adults in comfort, there are two additional separate leaves that stow within the underside that will allow for 8 and then 10 respectively. In my opinion 12 people would not be unrealistic.
Please Note: Due to the occasional use of the leaves that are stored under the table away from light, there is now a different shade / colour to the main table and the surface finish is also 'newer' on the rarely used additional leaves.
Only the legs are removable for transport and or storage. Please see the dimensions below.
In standard 6 seater form.
155cm Long x 100cm Wide x 73cm High
With one additional leaf.
205cm Long
With both additional leaves.
255cm Long.
This is a wonderful statement table 60 years old, and so very well made, in classic Scandinavian minimalist style great attention to detail and the highest quality design and materials, it's a real treasure.
I live between Launceston & Bude. PL158UB. Its available for you to come and view prior make sure you check the dimensions. Cash is always preferred
