Description

A really charming rustic antique rectangular pine farmhouse kitchen dining table on turned supports. The legs appear to have their original slightly pinky/red stain which has worn through in places. This is estimated to date to the 19th century. This is ideal for use in a small space or as a kitchen table. The top can be removed to aid with transportation, but it's best to leave the legs and frame as one piece if possible.

In good condition for its age, the table is structurally sound and strong. The frame has been reworked by a previous owner as it was jointed and they needed to be able to take it apart for storage, it is now held together with wooden blocks and screws which can only be seen from the underneath. The top is help on with modern brackets enabling the top to be easily removed. The top has developed some cracks over the years where the wood has shrunk and these have been filled. A previous owner has varnished the top, the legs appear to have their original finish. There's a few small areas with evidence of woodworm damage, particularly to the bottom of one foot, this appears historic however we have treated it to ensure that there is no active woodworm. There's a little damage to the wood on one corner.
