Description
A set of 4 wood and fabric informal dining chairs, suitable for a small dining room or kitchen. They date from about the 1960s. The brand name is "dinette" and these chairs are from the "Green Haze" range.
The height of the chair backs is 77cm. The seats are 40cm x 40cm.
The colour of the upholstery is a light greyish green. It is possible that the colour has faded somewhat with time. The upholstery fabric is 95% viscose and 5% wool. The chairs are compact, but sturdy.
Three of the chairs still have their original labels on the underside of the seat: see photograph 5.
Two of the chairs have a small darned area, at the top of the back. However, this does not detract from the usability of the chairs. Overall, the chairs are in good vintage condition.
They have been in my family for many years and are now being disposed of because of downsizing.
