Description
This is truly a stunning piece of furniture. I'm not sure on the age but the style of wood and some of the details suggest that it's old! I did start to paint this cream with gold buffing. I've only managed the front. So the sides could do with a touch up and the bottom at the front (see photos) but if you are putting it in alcove like ours then you can't even tell 😊
There's lots of storage space... the glass top cabinet to hold books, ornaments, photos etc. There's two deep pull-out draws and the bottom section opens up to a big cupboard space. There's a shelf in there which has old woodworm, all treated a very long time ago. We've left it in there because it gives it the old character feel. You could do the same or you could easily replace it with a bit of wood.
It comes apart in two sections.
