Description
Beautiful antique 3 drawer bureau dating from 1900-1945.
The unit has been stripped, sanded, primed, undercoated, given 3 coats of F&B De Nime Blue and one coat of satin varnish.
The internal mechanisms have been polished and statement drawer handles added.
Inside the folding desk there are a number of storage compartments and two small drawers.
The original key is also present, although this now only locks the top drawer easily.
Please note that the middle drawer lock mechanism had been removed prior to renovation, but the drawer still functions smoothly. We have polished the original leather writing pad, but there is some signs of wear (pictured).
Collection only from the Wadhurst area of East Sussex, viewing welcomed.
