For sale – Masons Ironstone Chartreuse – Tea Caddy/Nankin Jar
This is a beautiful vintage Mason’s Tea Caddy/Nankin Jar, dating from around the 1950s. The “Chartreuse” pattern is a vibrant green floral design hand-painted onto the jar. The design is further enhanced by a gilded gold rim. The colours show no signs of fading. This dish is an excellent example of Mason’s Ironstone craftsmanship and would make a wonderful addition to any collection or as a decorative piece in the home. The base is stamped with the printed Mason’s mark: “Mason’s, Ironstone, Made in England, Chartreuse”.
