Very good original useable condition.
5 months MOT.

Built at Morris Motors Cowley works 1956.
Clarendon Grey with light Burgundy interior.
Headlining in very good condition.
Excellent interior with all instruments and controls working, no rips or damage to seats.
Semaphore trafficators work perfectly including auto timer cancelling switch.

All tyres new condition fitted December 2024.
The wheels, front outer radiator grill and rear bumper plate have been painted incorrect colour as they should be body colour.
I intend to have this rectified as soon as possible.
Small rust patches on rear bumper and engine bay will also hopefully be sorted.


The original 1956 bonnet handle with enamel Morris logo is perfect as are the correct small tail light which often have been changed to ĺarger Morris 1000 units.

Comes with British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Historic Vehicle Certificate & build sheet file in as new custom folder enabling exemption from MOT testing and Road Fund Tax fee.
Reduced insurance premium which as a registered Historic Vehicle is very reasonable with numerous specialist companies competing for business so get numerous quotes.

Always garaged, comes with unused outdoor waterproof cover, solar exterior panel trickle charger, steering wheel security lock, comprehensive maintenance manual & drivers handbook.
Not original 1950s' they are BMC 1960s' period editions but still relevant cover the S2.
No seat belts so period uncluttered interior.
Radio not fitted, does have wing mounted aerial & wiring to dash.

All locks and door shuts work perfectly & has spare keys.
Correct original 803cc engine as manufactured which is smooth and surprisingly nippy.
Correct original gearbox with long gear stick.
Electric fuel pump fitted for good quick starting and reliability.

This is my fourth Minor , The Series 11 arguably being the most attractive and well built of them all.
I need an automatic car now as getting on in years so time for a new keeper.
Car is on the road with historic vehicle tax exemption, MOT and insured so is used weekly.
