2017 '66' plate Tiger Avon 2.0 Zetec

Having owned this for 2 1/2 years and enjoyed it as much as I can, its time now to let it go. Not having the time to enjoy it as much as I'd like as I have a toddler, I'm selling to make way for a slightly more practical 2nd car ( Jaguar XK). This car was built to a good standard by the first owner, along the way he took 100+ photos of the car, showing how it was built, where thins are located and general progression from start to finish, I have the usb drive with these on, and all the original IVA documents. The car is registered with a correct Tiger VIN number, showing as being a Tiger Avon on the V5, not Q plated. Car is located in Driffield, East Yorkshire.

Onto the car:

Engine/transmission:
New crate 2.0 Zetec engine from Ford when built
Alpha Webcon throttle bodies and ECU
Alloy Radiator
ERA shallow sump (dipstick remarked to reflect shallow sump)
Type 9 5 Speed gearbox
Lightened flywheel
Titanium wrapped exhaust from manifold to silencer (as pictured)
Stainless steel silencer/side pipe
Not sure what rear Diff is fitted to the car

Suspension/Brakes/Wheels:
Gaz adjustable coilovers
Fully polybushed
Tiger Brake upgrade was purchased with the car from new, This consists of:
4 Pot front calipers with EBC green stuff pads, vented discs and Earls braided brake hoses.
Twin pot rear calipers with EBC ultimax pads and solid discs and Earls braided brake hoses.
I believe these to be rebranded Hi Spec items, Tiger racing would confirm but I have added a photo of the inside of a caliper which looks to confirm this. This is now a £1000 upgrade to buy today.
Team Dynamics motorsport 15" alloys with Toyo T1R tyres (7mm front, 6mm rear)
All centre caps undamaged and present

Body/Interior:
Safety Devices full roll cage fitted with a receipt for cage from Tiger racing for £995
Aero screen ( again receipted from Tiger racing )
Full led rear lights
4 Point Tiger harnesses and matching Tiger embroidered seats
Adjustable drivers seat
Height adjustable steering column ( Not much adjustment, but still rare to have in a kit car)
Alloy handbrake and gearstick
Mountney steering wheel
Full Tiger gauge pack, which are all back lit when turning headlights on which consists of:
Speedo
Tachometer ( rev counter )
Fuel level
Coolant temp
Oil pressure
Twin Usb charging ports hard wired into car which exit inbetween seats
Shift light
3 speed Kalori interior heater as pictured, which works surprisingly well, again rare to have in a kit car. Has 2 exits for demisting the windscreen (when it was fitted) , and a vent each for the driver and passenger. Makes early spring drives a bit more comfortable.

Misc:

The car has 7300 miles on it, I'm the third owner from new. The V5 for the car is in my name, I've owned it since November 2022. As pictured it comes with receipts for what its had, a service book I've filled in detailing what the cars had and when its had it. Serviced at 2500/4302/6223 miles. MOT until 5/7/2026.

The build instruction book written by Jim Dudley is with the car, as is the CD and cable to be able to connect to the ECU if you want to have it reprogrammed if you're intending on doing upgrades.

I also have the windscreen setup which will go with the car if you'd like to refit it. This consists of the windscreen, wipers and wiper motor. The switch for this is still present in the car but does nothing.

I can facilitate viewings near enough whenever, I work a 24 week shift pattern and have between 3/5 days off per week. Happy to pick people up from Driffield train station. Test drives will be as a passenger only I'm afraid. The car can be a handful to drive, especially if it will be someones first kit car or car without many driver aids. It has no ABS, power steering, traction control or servo assisted brakes. You actually have to drive it .......... :)

As with all cars there is some points worth mentioning:

The bonnet blew out of my garage and it has been scratched/scuffed as pictured. ( My unfortunate introduction to fibreglass removeable bonnets.......)
It does has some marks on it and around it. Roll cage has paint missing in a couple of spots, entering and exiting the car and fitting it being the cause.

It's 8 years old, you're not looking at a 20 grand, minter than mint Westfield or Caterham.
