Description
Specialist Long Pin Carpet Grippers in Original Box with over 70 grippers of 1.52m (long) x 20.5mm (wide). Total length 112m approximately.
Left over from house redecoration. Purchased from Carpet Underlay Shop (£59.99 per per box with 100 x 5ft lengths grippers 500ft or 152.4m as shown in the pictures).
Royale Specialist long pin gripper is perfect for use on extra thick carpets (such as a saxony carpets) AND an extra thick underlay combined where the pins on gripper generally to be longer to have a better hold on the carpet.
Also pre-nailed with specially designed nails that can be hammered into both wood or concrete subfloors.
The ideal product for stretch fit carpet installations with thicker carpets & underlay over 12mm. This gripper is made from high-grade resin bonded plywood, five-ply (6mm) thickness, machined on one edge to a defined angle and penetrated from the underside by two rows of passivated pins.
The Pins are set at an angle of 60deg to eliminate pull-out and bending, even when power stretching. The carpet backing is then held in place by the pins to allow for correct tension.
Works fantastic with the extra soft and thick underlay Plushwalk 12mm
