Description
Stunning and very lightweight Eddy Merckx Blockhaus 67 road bike, named after his first Grand Tour stage race victory at the Giro d’Italia in 1967. Frame is a compact geometry superlight, high end triple butted alloy frame with full carbon tapered steerer forks, its marked up as a large but it is more like a medium, with a 51cm seat tube c-t and a virtual 54cm c-c top tube. It’s a pretty flexible fit due to the compact geometry design. Full Shimano 105 R7000 22 speed groupset, 50/34 chain set with 11-32 rear cassette. Fulcrum Racing 5 Q/R alloy wheels(which compliment the bike lovely with their red alloy nipples which are hard to pick out with my less than perfect photography!), Michelin Power 25mm tyres, Ritchey WCS 4Axis ahead handlebar stem with Forza flat top bars, carbon seatpost with Fabric saddle, Look Keo Classic pedals. Excellent condition, freshly custom built with lots of new parts inc stainless cables, chain and cassette, tyres and bar tape. Beautiful and well equipped machine. Alternative handlebar stem, pedals and saddle available if required.
