Grey Fabric Sherborne Dorchester 4FT Adjustable Bed

This item was in a room where my mum occasionally Smoked out of her window when she was unwell
& therefore it's been deep cleaned on Monday as shown with my Rug Doctor
HOWEVER
If your a Non Smoker with this item being in a smokers environment it may Not Be Suitable but your welcome to view it to rule it out

So the item
A Used 4FT Adjustable bed in Fantastic condition with No tears just some general abrasion wear on couple fabric areas

Don't think Sherborne make beds anymore as can't find anything on their site only chairs

This is not the cheap version with wooden slats, it's a quality solid base

There is a storage drawer at the bottom and there is also storage under the head end

My recently passed mum was a smoker and although she did not smoke in her bedroom generally if she was unwell or just really sore with her osteoarthritis, she did occasionally smoke out of the bedroom window rather than doing the 26 stairs to smoke in her living room

I have shampood the bed with my rug doctor & Dettol

You'll notice a hospital grade purple rubber cover on the bed

It was put on the mattress for protection from day one

As an ex nurse who was used to covered soft form mattress I just wanted to protect what was a very expensive purchase

I had that cover specially made by a company called Direct Manufacturing because this although, it is only a small double it Is A Longer length bed so there were none of the off the shelf covers I could buy

So it is Very Important your realise that
This bed is the same Length as a King and Superking not a general doubles length

The purple cover has been protecting the mattress since day one as back up.

I had waterproof washable fabric draw sheets over mum's electric blanket so this bed was Never soiled in any way

The mattress protector does have plenty wear this is from the heat of the electric blanket and the bending of the mattress over the years but I have turned over the cover & other side is perfect

The purple cover is offered with the bed but is not part of the sale

It's the bed base, headboard and the mattress and I will not split the items

Price is £400 for the items, base, headboard & mattress

Proceeds from the sale of this will go towards purchase of a king bedframe but this will do just fine as a guest bed till then

This is now on the ground floor of my home and it's a top half box and a bottom half box plus the headboard is separate

So please it's vital you have 2 incredibly strong men/women come to collect this bed as its one of the heaviest items I've ever had the displeasure of moving

I cannot help you move it at all
