Description
Hille's Supporto range, which was launched in 1979, quickly became regarded as a British design classic and these chairs have become much sought-after.
Designed by the renowned and highly influential furniture designer Frederick Scott, good original examples of these chairs are now highly desirable and can sell for a thousands of pounds. There is even one in the Victoria & Albert Museum as an example of great 20th-century design.
This one is in need of re-upholstering, and the piston that adjusts the seat back needs replacing - the height-adjuster piston works fine though.
Priced low to reflect the condition and for quick sale.
