Hello, I am Chloe. You can contact me if you need an 'emergency' or 'one-off cover' assistant (as a temp carer/PA/minder), for yourself (or your partner, adult/underage children, siblings or parents), or if you/your loved ones need a part-time cover on an 'ongoing, occasional, ad hoc' basis, either short/medium/long-term (from a few days to 1 year +), within ca. 130-mile radius from my location.

Anywhere in the UK and abroad can be OK, as I am a mobile, temp carer/minder/travel-luggage PA.

1) ABOUT MY SERVICES

I am a professional running my own business including as a carer, travel PA/luggage assistant, babysitter and protection agent. I can help if you need an emergency temporary cover (an evening/weekend or a fortnight/month +) either at a short notice or arranged in advance. Also, a 'longer temporary' cover (some weeks to 2, 3 or 4 months +), full or part-time, could be arranged. I can consider long-term placements (6 months, a year + etc.).

For your care needs or for trips abroad, any UK location is OK, since I am a mobile, temp PA carer/assistant. (Accommodation/travel/meal costs apply if far from me.)

I am also a babysitter and travel PA/luggage assistant/chaperon-minder-bodyguard/care escort, available for your family trips/holidays for help with carrying your suitcases/bags or childcare needs - from infants to 15 years of age with/without SEN and more such as washing/dressing/packing etc.

I have portable wheelchair ramps (60cm/90cm) that I can carry while I am driving or care escorting you.

As a self-employed professional, I am insured with First Aid/DBS/references/driving licence/own cars. (I've a car in London and a car in Yorkshire.)

3) ABOUT ME

If you wonder: Am I a woman who is fit/strong enough to lift you up to assist you with hoist/washing/dressing with the strength to push you on a wheelchair at home or help with your suitcases/bags during day outs/travels abroad?

A) I cycle 50+ miles a day; more than London-Reading and Sheffield-Manchester distance.
B) I work out 5-7 hours a day (fitness exercise/sports); as in what professional athletes do.
C) I am tall; about Eleanor Roosevelt and Michelle Obama’s height.
D) I have carried (walking 1km+) ca. 60kg worth of luggage for my disabled clients as a travel PA/baggage assistant. (30kg load on one hand + 20 kg on the other + 10kg on my back/shoulders.)

I am a London and Yorkshire -based female, lifelong non-smoker and tea total, UK passport and driving licence (full manual/automatic, no driving penalty points ever) with my own cars (2-3 wheelchairs + a few passengers possible), valid First Aid certificate, DBS and references, carer/nanny public liability insurance, self-employment UTR (hospitality/creative/care industries); speaking English/basic knowledge of European languages, very fit/active into healthy lifestyle (3am start/16-hour shifts, fitness training etc.), reliable/punctual/operationally efficient in client delivery, several qualifications to postgraduate research/doctorate level.

My vehicle: I can have 8 people in my car. It can carry a few wheelchairs. I have portable mobility ramps (60cm/90cm ramps) for wheelchair service user clients.

In addition to caring/PA: I could help you as an assistant for your other activities. (Academic work, artistic pursuits and swimming/physio exercises etc. I teach/coach cello/violin/piano and swimming/fitness.) I can come with you in the UK/abroad to help you during your business/study trips or holidays. I can also help as your travel/luggage assistant and with your cat litter/feeding, dog walking, grocery shopping and cleaning/tidying up the house.

4) MY EXPERIENCE

CARER: I have cared for adults/children; including SEN, physical/challenging conditions/disabilities, sight impairments, post-surgery, bowel/catheter care, shower/dressing/wheelchair assistance, 24-hour live-in care/waking night sleepovers, helping clients with international travels.

PETS: I am a lifelong cat owner/experienced cat sitter/fosterer for other people's or lost/homeless cats, both with home visits (to your home) and cat-boarding (at my home). I have walked dogs for owners. For other pets (rabbits, birds, fish etc.), I am happy to look after your pets while you are away.

HOMES: I have housesat with daily/weekly visits (watering your plants etc.) and for prolonged stays overnight for your home's security as a house sitter.

In London, I am in Brockley, in southeast London zone 2, near Greenwich, Lewisham, Sidcup, Clapham, Southwark and Canary Wharf.

I could drive even over 2-hour driving one-way from Brockley to come to your home.

You can be based anywhere within ca. 130-mile radius of Brockley, London. (Within M25/Home Counties, from inner/outer London to Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Middlesex, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.)

Also, I can consider afar. (Oxford/Cambridge, Milton Keynes/Norwich, Dover/Brighton, Southampton/Reading, Birmingham/Leicester etc.)

Anywhere in the UK can be possible (travel/meal/hotel costs apply), and I can be available for your trips to other countries abroad (holidays, family events, work/study visits etc.).

6) MY RATES AS A CARER/PA

My rates start at £15.00 per hour. For long-distance driving from Brockley station SE4 in London zone 2, or for trips abroad, or for daily-nightly/weekly/monthly rates, or to discuss your personal needs/situation, please contact me. (Travel/accommodation/meal costs apply if far from me. Please contact me for a chat.)

For London/South East, the following minimum hours' charges apply depending on your distance from me (Brockley):

Over 5 miles distance: Minimum 2 hours' service chargeable.
Over 10 miles distance: Minimum 3 hours' service chargeable.
Over 15 miles distance: Minimum 4 hours' service chargeable.

Distances of over 20 miles from Brockley incur travel costs payable at 0.30p per mile (less than HMRC mileage rate up to 10,000 miles) to cover my return travel. For example, if you are in Reading (47 miles from Brockley, 94 miles return travel), £28.20 travel cost is chargeable.

For other UK locations or accompanying you on trips abroad, please contact me for bespoke packaging/rates. Each client's location/needs will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

8) EXAMPLES OF YOU NEEDING ME AS YOUR TEMPORARY/EMERGENCY/AD HOC COVER CARER/PA ASSISTANT

Here are instances of what my clients hire me for my services:

A) You already have a carer/PA or your partner/family help you, but they are ill so you need a last-minute, temp carer for a few nights (with staying overnight/24-hour care) to assist you at your home.

B) You booked a holiday abroad for you and your carer, but they suddenly became unavailable due to a grave situation, or your usual PA is on a 2-week annual leave and you now suddenly have to travel abroad for something urgent at a short notice, either for a few nights/weeks or for a month or more, leaving you in need of an emergency carer/assistant to travel with you abroad.

C) You usually stay home without a carer, but just tomorrow night, or for a few days this/next week, you have to be out for a few hours or the whole day or night (for job interviews, dates, concerts/events, important meetings, family/friends do etc.), so you need someone to help you while out and about.

D) You suddenly have to travel one-off to Scotland for a weekend, or you have to fly out of the UK on business unexpectedly for a week, so you need a carer to come with you to help you on urgent/unexpected trips away from home somewhere in the UK or abroad. Or you feel you could just about manage travelling alone, but you would like a minder/bodyguard to accompany you for protection as you are a vulnerable individual due to health conditions/disability or due to 'higher risk' destinations.

E) You usually always work from home and manage your independent living yourself, but there are changes occurring in that soon you could have to be out for events/meetings for the whole afternoon once or twice a week, or you could need to travel abroad for a couple of nights a few times a month, so you now need to find a carer/PA on an on-going yet occasional, ad-hoc basis.
