Vintage Yashica-Mat TLR 120 Medium Format Film Camera – Film Tested & Working

Description

Beautiful vintage Yashica-Mat twin-lens reflex medium format film camera, complete with original brown leather case and shoulder strap.

A lovely example of this classic Japanese 6x6 camera, in generally very good cosmetic condition for its age and, importantly, fully working and recently film tested.

**Condition and operation:**
- Fully working and film tested within the last two weeks.
- All shutter speeds operating correctly.
- Self-timer working correctly.
- Film advance and winding mechanism working correctly.
- Focusing mechanism working smoothly.
- Original Yashinon 80mm f/3.5 taking and viewing lenses.
- Copal-MXV shutter.
- Body generally in very good vintage condition, with some normal age-related marks.
- Original leather case included, although this is heavily worn, particularly around the edges and stitching. Please study photographs.

**Lens condition:**

There is a slight amount of haze in the lens, which is worth mentioning for complete transparency. This can produce a rather attractive, soft vintage character in certain lighting conditions, particularly misty or atmospheric scenes.

Any unwanted haziness in the resulting photographs can generally be reduced using the Dehaze tool in Lightroom or similar editing software, although this won't physically correct the lens.

**Recent sample photographs included:**

The final sample images in the listing were taken with this exact camera during the last two weeks, using 120 colour film.

These are genuine examples of the photographs it produces, so you can judge the image quality and character for yourself.

A lovely, fully usable vintage medium format camera, ideal for anyone wanting to explore traditional 120 film photography or add a classic TLR to their collection.

Sold exactly as photographed, including the original leather case and strap.

Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
