Rare Low-Mileage Automatic Nissan Micra (1995) – Only 31,000 Miles

A lovely little Nissan Micra from 1995, with just over 31,000 miles on the clock – making it a rare find, especially in automatic form. Reliable, fun to drive, cheap to run, and full of character, this car has been a joy to own. Only selling now due to lack of space on the drive.

Condition & Recent Work:
Passed all MOTs during my ownership and has had any remedial works carried out by Allen Engineering near Verwood. The car had 5 new tyres less than 4,000 miles ago.

Engine works:
It developed an intermittent misfire when I first bought it and I ended up replacing all the ignition system before it was found to just be a leaky o-ring around an injector. Due to this, the car now has new distributor, leads, spark plugs, injectors, and injector seals! I also bought a spare throttle body and fuel rail before I found the cause of the misfire, so these can also come with the car as well.

It now runs exceptionally smoothly. It has been looked after very well and had every care taken to extend it’s life. During my ownership it has always been warmed for a minute or two before moving off, had annual servicing with long life oil, and ran on E5 petrol (some older cars don’t like E10 fuel as this can degrade the silicone/rubber used in their fuel systems).

Electrical works:
New Bluetooth radio fitted (though door speakers will need replacing). I still have the original head unit and it will come with the car.

Uprated headlight bulbs have been fitted to help with winter driving.

The heater resistor has been replaced along with all air filters that were due in the servicing. The fan blows hot and cold on demand.

Bodywork:
The car is in great shape but has some age related marks. The windows and windshield are all original with the car registration etched in them. Although I believe the rear screen was replaced at some point. All locks and handles work as expected.

The passenger window mechanism is a little temperamental. It works but sticks slightly at the back.

Interior:
The interior is all original with no rips or damage. There are some age related marks/fading. Due to the door seals being old, I have kept dehumidifying bags in the car during the winter months to help reduce any moisture in the air.

It has the odd quirk you’d expect from a 30 year old vehicle - but it’s very reliable, great fun to drive, and in remarkably good shape for its age. With its low mileage and rare automatic gearbox, I’d love to sell this car as a fun runaround or as a future classic for an enthusiast!
