Selling my wee Micra, the most reliable pal you’ll ever have on four wheels. It’s sitting at 110k miles, MOT for just under four months, and honestly I’ve no doubt it’ll sail through the next one. The only thing I know it needs is a spotlight bulb on the passenger side — so unless you’re planning on doing midnight rally stages, you’re good to go.

It’s the “Active Luxury” model which means it’s fancier than your average Micra. Half leather seats you won’t be scared to actually sit on, heated seats for those freezing mornings, proper air con for the rare Scottish summer, a multifunction steering wheel that makes you feel like you’re in a cockpit, and alloys with decent tyres all round. The bodywork is in really good nick for its age too, no horror stories here.

Running costs? Silly cheap. £50 in fuel lasts me weeks — I don’t know how it does it, but I’m not asking questions. Insurance is laughably low, which is why delivery drivers love these wee cars. Whether you’re a first-time driver, a Just Eat hero, or just after a no-nonsense runaround, this car will do the job without complaining.

It’s been a great car, I’ll be sad to see it go, but it’s ready for its next home.
