For Sale: 2006 Nissan Note 1.6 (1598cc) – 139,335 Miles – MOT Until 12/03/2027 – Privacy Glass

Selling for a friend after having use of it for the past year, starts on the button, reliable, nippy, economical little runner.

A reliable and spacious 2006 Nissan Note powered by the robust 1.6-litre (1598cc) petrol engine. With a MOT valid until March 12, 2027.
139,335-mile hatchback is ready to drive away today. Ideally suited for families or commuters needing extra power and practicality, it features stylish alloy wheels and factory-fitted rear privacy glass.

Long MOT & Peace of Mind, (until 12/03/2027), eliminating immediate testing costs and worries. The 1.6 engine is known for its longevity, often exceeding 150,000 miles with routine care.
Engine & Performance: The 110 hp 1.6L unit offers significantly better motorway performance and hill-climbing ability than the 1.4 model, while remaining economical (approx. 40–43 mpg). It features a timing chain (no belt replacement needed).
Privacy Glass Feature: This model benefits from factory-fitted privacy glass on the rear windows and tailgate. Unlike aftermarket tint, this glass is dyed during manufacturing, making it fully legal, durable, and resistant to peeling or bubbling. It provides excellent privacy for passengers and luggage while reducing glare, though it offers less heat rejection than high-performance ceramic films. The front windows remain clear to comply with UK legal limits (70% light transmission).

This car is mechanically sound but shows age-related marks consistent with its 20 years of service. Buyers should expect:
Exterior: Minor stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet, light surface scratches from parking, and slight fading or oxidation on plastic trim pieces.
Interior: Wear on the driver’s seat bolster, slight scuffing on the steering wheel rim.
Alloy Wheels: Light kerb scuffs consistent with urban driving. These cosmetic imperfections are reflected in the price, offering excellent value for a buyer prioritizing mechanical reliability, a long MOT, and factory privacy over showroom perfection.
This Nissan Note represents excellent value for a buyer seeking a low-cost, high-utility vehicle with a long MOT, a peppy engine, and the added benefit of rear privacy glass. Perfect as a first car, a student runabout, or a second family vehicle where function outweighs flawless aesthetics.
