PowerConnect 2748 – Web-managed switching capabilities
The Dell™ PowerConnect™ 2748 switch offers web-managed capabilities for servers and/or workstations in remote office/branch office environments. It delivers wire-speed performance at all three Ethernet speeds, 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1 Gbps. You can use this web-managed switch to set IP addresses, configure VLANs, set Quality of Service (QoS) priorities, and port mirroring for intrusion detection and troubleshooting. This 48 port switch also has four combo SFP ports for connecting the switch to other networking equipment located beyond the 100 m distance limitations for Ethernet.
The switch features local password and restricted IP addresses for secure access. It also features a web-management interface so that configurations can be easily uploaded to and from the switch. In addition, the switch supports Virtual Cable Diagnostics by Marvell™ and fiber transceiver diagnostics to provide advanced troubleshooting capabilities for your cable infrastructure. With up to 1 Gbps of data transfer capacity, you can be sure performance is delivered where you need it.
