Description
This wheelchair was purchased for use inside our property but has never been used. It cost us £149 plus postage from Quirumed a couple of years ago; although now it appears to be on Amazon for £145.55.
The unit only weighs 11 kilos but will take & transport a person up to 120 kilos.
Its very practical, strong & made of high quality aluminum; perfect for home use.
Apart from being lightweight, its also easy to fold & unfold quickly. This makes it easy to take with you on holiday, or just move it around your home. I have never tried but think it would easily fit in an overhead locker on an airplane.
The built-in brakes are really effective & gives maximum control of the unit during use.
The buggy also comes with a practical & strong carry bag, where the unit can also be stored. This makes it even easier to transport.
It also has a large pocket built into the backrest for documents etc.
The aluminum structure of the buggy, together with its strong nylon seat, makes it very lightweight & maneuverable. It also has a seatbelt to keep the passenger safe.
